MY VISION

MY WORK ALGORITHM
HOW I DESIGN A POSTER
01 ➵ FIND THE STARTING POINT I begin with a track, an image, a conversation, a feeling, or anything else that deserves to become a visual narrative.
02 ➵ EXPLORE THE IDEA I gather references, document associations in writing and sketches, and determine the poster’s core message and desired tone.
03 ➵ SKETCH DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS I test rough compositions, mixing typography, imagery, and shapes. At this stage, I focus on possibilities rather than details and embrace creating multiple versions and iterations. Iteration is key to making the poster bolder, more coherent, and more impactful.
04 ➵ BUILD THE VISUAL LANGUAGE I select the typefaces, colors, and textures that reinforce the central idea, and then develop the most compelling direction. While building the visual, I use multiple programs and combine various techniques.
05 ➵ REFINE AND TEST I adjust the hierarchy, spacing, and contrast. I view the poster at various scales to determine what draws the eye and what remains legible.
06 ➵ FINALIZE AND SHARE I review the final file and export it for print or digital distribution. Then, I share the work, credit collaborators, and consider what I want to explore next.
