I build character-driven visual worlds.
Ton · Junior Visual & Illustration Designer
I transform a clear concept into an original narrative, expressive illustration, and a coherent visual language. My featured work spans from reimagined fairy tales to character systems and illustrated portraiture.
I am seeking to join a creative team or collaborate with studios, publishers, and teams focused on games and culture.
01 / Little Red Riding Hood
A familiar story. An unexpected heroine.
COMIC · 2026Challenge Retell Little Red Riding Hood using an original cast and a clear, engaging sequence.Idea Reimagine the heroine as a masked crime-fighter. A tip from her mother leads her after a dangerous criminal known as the Wolf—straight to her grandmother’s house.Solution A red silhouette captures the reader’s attention against a cold blue forest. Varying panel sizes, close-ups, and hand-drawn sound effects build suspense, which is then released through action and humor.

Outcome Four completed comic spreads showcase how character design, narrative pacing, and a consistent palette can coalesce within a single visual world. This is the approach I intend to bring to illustrated narratives and character-driven projects.
02 / Flavours of Music
One character system. Three distinct tastes.
ILLUSTRATION SERIES · 2025
Challenge Give three beer styles distinct personalities while keeping the series visually connected.
Idea Translate flavor into music: green metal for IPA, yellow hip-hop for sour, and chocolate jazz for stout.
Solution A shared deer-like character transforms into three musicians. While instruments, poses, and genre cues shift, bold outlines and simplified shapes unify the series. Each palette makes a different taste visible.
Green Metal — IPA A sharp pose and electric guitar give the first variation a loud, restless personality.
Outcome Three finished illustrations form a recognizable family while communicating three different moods. The series demonstrates how I use character, color, and gesture to make an abstract idea tangible.
03 / Memories of the Past
Recognizable faces. A shared visual language.
PORTRAIT SERIES · 2025
Challenge Bring together actors from Black Mirror episodes connected by a retro theme, while preserving each person’s likeness.
Idea Treat the portraits as a cast: individual faces belong to one graphic world.
Solution Expressive contours, simplified shading, and alternating pink and yellow-green backgrounds create a common rhythm. Distinct facial features, hairstyles, and expressions keep the portraits individual.
Four selected portraits from the full series.
Outcome A connected portrait series balances likeness with stylization. It demonstrates my attention to facial structure, expression, and consistency across a set.Illustration: Ton. Academic project; curator: Evgeny Tonkonogiy.
Let’s build your next visual world.
I am open to a junior designer role, an internship, or a creative collaboration.
I can contribute character design, expressive illustration, and visual storytelling to your team. If my work aligns with a narrative you wish to tell, I would love to discuss it during an interview or project conversation.
