ANNA KONDRATYEVA
Art Direction & Styling
I collaborate with independent creatives and production teams to build cohesive visual universes—from deep conceptual research to immersive aesthetic narratives.
PROJECTS
1. INNER ANGEL

My Roles: Art Direction, Styling, Set Design

Challenge: To visually translate the complex psychological state of female vulnerability, innocence, and isolation into a tangible aesthetic narrative.
Concept & Approach: The idea was to create a physical manifestation of a girl’s inner world. As Art Director and Set Designer, my approach was to build a «locked» space that feels simultaneously comforting and isolating.
Execution: I constructed a closed, monochromatic pink environment to symbolize a sheltered reality. In the styling, I integrated physical angel wings to emphasize the duality of innocence and loneliness. The intimate set design enhances the feeling of the heroine being trapped within her own imagination.
Result: A highly cohesive visual editorial demonstrating my ability to merge symbolic styling, detailed set design, and overall art direction into a unified, immersive narrative.
2. GRILLZ TEETH
My Roles: Co-Producer, Co-Stylist
Challenge: To visually interpret the psychological tension of the film Dogtooth, capturing the collision between enforced infantilism and distorted corporeality.
Concept & Approach: The core concept revolves around hypertrophied, grotesque grillz fangs as a symbol of rebellion. As a Co-Producer and Co-Stylist, my goal was to create deliberate visual discomfort by contrasting these aggressive proportions with naive aesthetic forms.
Execution: Working as a styling duo, we constructed a wardrobe centered on soft, infantile garments to embody forced innocence. We then contrasted this softness with brutal metallic facial jewelry. The styling explicitly highlights the dual forces of infantilism versus cruelty.
Result: A provocative fashion editorial that demonstrates my ability to translate complex cinematic and psychological narratives into striking fashion imagery through collaborative production.
3. MEANWHILE
My Roles: Co-Producer, Co-Art Director, Co-Stylist
Challenge: To visually depict inner conflict and the duality of individuality through the collision of two distinct worlds, inspired by the surreal atmosphere of Twin Peaks.

Concept & Approach: As Co-Art Director and Co-Stylist, my approach was to construct two opposing aesthetic realities. One represents the grounded, mundane world, while the other plunges into the subconscious—a surreal, theatrical space.
