Solution: The story is told through cute, memorable characters and visual storytelling, employing humor and emotional contrast to explore the balance between intimacy and individuality. The characters' transformation into a single, identical creature serves as a metaphor for losing one’s self within a relationship.

Short Animated Film: «I Am CARshing»

Brief: A one-minute animated documentary inspired by the personal experience of learning to drive a manual transmission car.Solution: The film blends personal footage, photographs of the author, animated toy cars, and object animation utilizing stop-motion techniques. A collage aesthetic—enhanced with paper textures and magazine cutouts—creates a playful, game-inspired visual style that transforms a real-life challenge into a humorous and visually expressive narrative.Completion Time: 3.5 months

Music Video 'Phase Zero'

Brief: A three-minute animated music video for the band «Nezhnoye Eto,» created for the song «Phase Zero.» While the song initially sounds simple and playful, the film develops into an unusual story concerning attraction, transformation, alienation, and the longing to return to loved ones.Solution: The animation merges surreal imagery, expressive character movement, and a meticulously crafted color palette to embody the composition’s mood. Instead of illustrating the lyrics directly, the video offers an original narrative that complements the music’s atmosphere.Completion time: 4 months

Short Animated Film: «Soft-paw. The Zooschool»

Brief: A two-minute animated promotional video created for the «Softpaw» ZooSchool, an educational center where kids and teens learn how to responsibly care for and interact with animals.Solution: The animation follows a boy on his first visit to the ZooSchool, introducing viewers to its various learning areas, including animal psychology, pet care, veterinary medicine, and volunteering. Through engaging characters, attractive visuals, and adorable cats, this animation portrays the school as a welcoming place to discover new skills and develop a deeper understanding of animals.Completion time: 2 months

Short Animated Film: «Life Under Cover»

Brief: A four-minute animated film created by a team of three, exploring love, conflict, and the yearning for freedom through absurdist humor and metaphor. The story follows a cucumber and a tomato who fall in love but find their relationship challenged by the cramped confines of a jar.Solution: The film blends expressive animation with visual metaphors to explore the tension between intimacy and confinement. As a team member, I contributed to every phase of production—from plot development, character concept art, and storyboarding, to animatics, rough animation, line art, and final coloring.Completion Time: 4 months
