A drawing becomes a VTuber when it moves. I rig it so it does.
FOR VTubers & Streamers You have the art, and you need a model ready for face tracking. FOR Illustrators & Studios You draw the character; I handle the rigging. NEXT Commissions Open Review three case studies, then let’s discuss yours.
Problem What the design demands: layers, details, personality.
Idea How to split and group the art for clean motion.
Solution Meshes, deformers, parameters, physics.
Result A finished model with real expressions.
#CASE 1

PROBLEM The layered dress, ahoge, ribbons, and hair clips had to move without breaking the art. IDEA Cut the design into clean parts and group them by how they should move. SOLUTION Dense meshes and deformers for the face, hair, and dress, utilizing soft physics. RESULT A soft, expressive model that remains true to the illustration.

CASE 2

PROBLEM Sharp techwear and layered hair required an expressive face and a stable body. IDEA Rig the face first; keep hair strands and accessories as independent layers. SOLUTION Detailed face mesh, eye and brow parameters, hair physics. RESULT A confident, stream-ready model with a distinct look.
CASE 3

PROBLEM Too many accessories, cat ears, and strong expressions on a single character. IDEA Plan the expression range upfront and build components to support it. SOLUTION A comprehensive expression set: wink, smile, fangs, and more, displayed on the right. RESULT A playful, readable character, ready for production.
