Brief

To create a cohesive system of whimsical and positive illustrations that will inject a cheerful, light mood into a classic fairy tale for young readers, while perfectly adapting the artistic design to the client’s strict book layout.

Idea

I wanted to reimagine the fairy tale by asking: «What if…?» What if the story was set in a world where everyone except for the cat and his owner wore boots? The main character does everything he can to improve their situation—and of course, his intelligence and quick wit help him!
