My Projects
Soot-black
An animated short depicting a simple story of a sooty-black rabbit kit who becomes too curious about the outside world to heed his mother’s warnings
Character Turnarounds
The challenge of this project was simplifying production, as it was supposed to be completed by a single person.
So I chose an easy-to-animate, geometric style, relying on contrast and strong poses.
It is almost black and white, silhouetted, and deliberately requires almost no post-production color correction.
Exterior Backgrounds
It is «animated on 3s», which makes each pose pop while keeping the frame count for every scene relatively low.

Amateurs
«Amateurs» was a team project short film, based on a pre-existing short story of the same name by A. Bitov. It told of a man coming across a car crash scene and talking to the surviving driver, who seemed to be out of his mind.
Backgrounds
The challenge of this project was transforming a relatively anecdotal tale into a full narrative.
It was decided to take the story’s rather existential tone and its ambiguous ending and introduce an element of horror (inspired by a character discussing the possibility of death).
The cause of the crash—a random chicken appearing on the road at an inconvenient time—was transformed into a deterministic spirit of disaster. The allusion to potential death evolved into a confirmation, and the entire story became a looping narrative. Technically, it remains true to the original, but new context was added.
Character Design Search
Besides the narrative, my responsibilities also included creating the film’s aesthetic—designing storyboards, backgrounds, and completing several animation scenes.

Animation Samples
After the initial viewing, the film received the description: «leaving a very particular, creepy aftertaste, giving food for thought, and respecting the viewer’s intellect.»

MERMAID CORPORATE 2000
A music video for the song of the same name by Diavolisa and Vavsachnastia
Title card animation
The Goal of this project was to evoke the pure, unfiltered sense of GirlyPop, early Two Thousands fun!
And so the work on this clip was heavily based on finding the correct, bright, bold style and using it to its fullest potential in the most ridiculous ways.
