MAXIM BALITSKIY / /
I am a product concept designer and 3D visualizer studying at the HSE Art and Design School. I create concepts for physical products, ranging from consumer electronics to furniture, merging industrial design principles with detailed 3D modeling and visualization. My work emphasizes form, materials, and the visual identity of everyday objects.MY PRINCIPLES
NOT JUST IMAGES, BUT OBJECTS / /
I approach every project as a physical product, considering its proportions, materials, functionality, and how it would exist in the real world.FORM + FUNCTION + CHARACTER / /
I believe good design should be both functional and distinctive. I explore how simple shapes, thoughtful details, and materials can give an object its own identity.PRESENTATION IS PART OF DESIGN / /
A good product deserves a good presentation. I use 3D visualization, lighting, and composition to communicate design ideas and bring concepts to life.KL-12 / / INDUSTRIAL DESIGN / MODELING
A conceptual electric kettle inspired by the industrial design language of Teenage Engineering. The project explores how everyday household appliances can combine functional simplicity with a distinctive technological aesthetic.

Original size 2480x1305
Original size 2480x1305

THE IDEA / /
The goal was to reinterpret a familiar household appliance as a contemporary design object. Rather than following conventional kettle aesthetics, KL-12 explores a more architectural approach, emphasizing geometric clarity, visual simplicity, and expressive details.Original size 2480x1169

OUTCOME / /
The result is an independent product concept that merges the familiar functionality of a kettle with the visual language of contemporary electronic devices. The KL-12 showcases a product design approach centered on form, material expression, and visual communication.REVOX B77 / / MODELING / VISUALIZATION
Original size 2480x1230

PROJECT / /
A 3D recreation of the iconic Revox B77 reel-to-reel tape recorder. The project focuses on detailed hard-surface modeling, material representation, and the visual reconstruction of a complex piece of vintage audio equipment.Original size 2480x1221
THE CHALLENGE / /
The objective was to recreate a recognizable piece of audio engineering equipment while maintaining its distinctive proportions, mechanical complexity, and visual character. This challenge required translating numerous physical components into a coherent and detailed 3D model.

OUTCOME / /
The final result is a detailed 3D interpretation of the Revox B77, presented through studio renders, close-up views, orthographic projections, and an exploded composition. The project showcases hard-surface modeling skills, material development, and the ability to communicate complex industrial objects through 3D visualization.1/4
KERNELUS // CONCEPT / VISUALIZATION
KERNELUS is a conceptual furniture collection that explores the relationship between geometric structures, light, and organic growth. The project unifies several interior objects into a cohesive visual system, combining sculptural form with atmospheric presentation.
Original size 1800x1013

THE IDEA / /
The project aimed to develop a collection of furniture and lighting objects unified by a shared design language. Rather than presenting isolated products, KERNELUS was conceived as a cohesive environment where every object contributes to a larger visual narrative.
