My Projects
This animation won the channel’s contest. This project was created by my colleague Maria Voronkova and me. We developed this idea together, and I was responsible for the initial animation and compositing.
Idea
This is an animated short film currently in production, which I am directing entirely. For this project, I aimed to explore the Zoroastrian people and the people of Kurdistan. I need to ensure that I have captured the atmosphere and philosophy accurately within this film.Character Design
My Approach
For this animation, I developed a non-standard yet compelling narrative and created a storyboard to effectively present the main idea from the most engaging perspective. All characters were designed to strike a balance—realistic enough for the audience to connect with them without being distracted from the story, yet distinct enough to capture immediate attention through their unique traits.Part of the storyboard
Idea
«Endure» is an animated music video for the band Terminals. For this project, I managed every stage of the animation development process—from conceptualizing the synopsis to finalizing the clip. The goal was to convey intense emotion through movement and visual style. My Approach
With the musicians, we discussed the song and the emotions this clip needed to evoke. After considering the desired outcome, I developed an art style and character that would be expressive yet simple enough for viewers to connect with. I sent each stage of the work to the musicians for feedback, revisions, and final approval.Character Design
Idea
«Kyokushin spirit» is a series of short animations advertising a client’s sports center. For this project, I focused on vertical content and one horizontal clip. The client provided the text and soundtrack. They also specified that the visuals needed to convey the vibe of traditional Japan and martial arts.My Approach
Following discussions, I designed characters and a visual style inspired by traditional Japanese art. I also handled other stages of the animation development—storyline, storyboard, animatic, and animation—all intended to evoke the traditional foundations of Kyokushin and persuade people to join the sport center. I submitted each stage of the work for feedback, revision, and final approval.Part of the storyboard and concept design
