The Issue
In an age of information noise, the continuous flow of data overwhelms people. The media landscape lacks platforms in the form of slow media. These are spaces where one can slow down and focus on their own emotional state.
Art as a medium is ideally suited for this format because it directly engages sensory perception. However, the current market lacks cultural media whose central theme would exclusively be the human emotional experience: specifically, how emotions are reflected in creative work, and how we might connect this to our everyday lives to better understand ourselves?
An equally important—and research-backed—aspect is this: we connect with a material only when we feel a living human gaze behind it. Today, however, this sense of authenticity is disappearing due to the abundance of AI-generated content.
Solution
Zamechai Media addresses these gaps: the project offers thoughtful content at the intersection of art and psychology, created by people for people.
The media combines curated selections, original writing, and conversations with creative individuals, demonstrating how the same emotional experience can manifest in different forms within art.
The project allows viewers to see art as a safe conduit to the self.
Format

Zamechai — a cultural media project that explores the human emotional experience through art. The primary output consists of themed publications on social media, each dedicated to examining a specific emotion or aspect of the emotional experience.Initially, the project will develop within social media platforms. Later possibilities include print publications, collaborations with cultural institutions, and an offline program featuring lectures and themed discussions.Zamechai investigates how human feelings take shape in art, helping viewers see new dimensions of their own experience through that form. The project’s principle: from feeling—to art, and from art—to self-understanding.
