When I was working on the poster, I had to open up the word «universality» through the subject of drinking, because I had this hobby from the curator’s early home. I decided to combine the image of man and the letters through the tool — as if the figure was gradually becoming a symbol. This is similar to the process of sawing from a tree: first you see a general silhouette or a string, and then you gradually show the details and shape. It seemed to me to be close to universality, because a person can drink himself in different ways and adapt to different challenges and circumstances.

Each letter in the word reveals a certain quality of universality, and a smooth transition from man to letter symbolizes that these qualities come from us people, from our experience and skills.
