Hi, I’m Anna Bragina — a conceptual fashion designer creating expressive garments with strong silhouettes and visual narratives. I work with: concept development, fashion research, silhouette design, material experimentation, draping, styling, and collection development. My approach: combining current trends with experimental construction, layering, and unconventional materials. Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, Procreate, and Adobe InDesign.
What can I create?
The Lives of Others

The Lives of Others is a conceptual fashion project inspired by the 2006 film of the same name, where observation becomes part of a system that slowly alters how an individual perceives their role within it. The collection explores the precarious position of someone who is both watching and being watched, translating concepts of control, privacy, and vulnerability into a visual language. The structure of window blinds served as the key design motif, interpreted through layered construction, repeated horizontal elements, and rigid silhouettes that simultaneously conceal and expose the body. Through material experimentation and sculptural form, the project transforms surveillance into something tangible and wearable, illustrating how clothing can convey a narrative and make a powerful emotional statement beyond mere function.

COMPLICITY

COMPLICITY explores mutual observation as a social condition, where the roles of observer and observed constantly shift. The collection translates this idea through the visual logic of blinds: repeated, layered elements create a surface that can both reveal and conceal, turning the garment into a metaphor for control, privacy, and exposure. The rigid, fragmented construction contrasts with the body underneath, creating tension between protection and vulnerability. Through a sculptural silhouette and material experimentation, the project transforms an abstract social concept into a wearable statement with a strong visual identity.

BLUE LOTUS PROJECT

BLUE LOTUS PROJECT is built around the idea of a soft hallucination—a state where reality is only subtly distorted, yet enough to make perception feel unstable. The image of a blue lotus is repeatedly duplicated, layered, and shifted until it begins to lose its original clarity and transforms into something fluid, suspended between the visible and the imagined.
This principle is translated into the garment through transparency, overlapping layers, and fragmented movement. Rather than treating repetition as mere decoration, I use it as a tool to alter how the silhouette is perceived, creating a piece that feels constantly in transition and transforms clothing into an immersive visual experience.

Looking for something more personal than mass-market fashion? I create expressive pieces for people who want their clothing to reflect their individuality and make a statement.
