ABOUT

Hi! I’m Nika, a communication and graphic designer, a student at HSE Art and Design School (2027 BA) based in Nizhny Novgorod.
MY APPROACH
As a communication designer, I prioritize communication above all else in my work—which is why I value deeply understanding the context of what I’m engaging with.My other strength is my artistic approach. I don’t just see a rough assignment; I see a case where a unique aesthetic perspective can elevate any product to something truly exceptional.

WORKS
MAXIM GORKIY LITERATURE FESTIVALTarget The goal was to create a festival identity that feels contemporary and dynamic while attracting a new, younger audience.

ResultOver the course of three months, I developed a visual system that eventually grew into the festival’s complete identity. I designed a logo referencing the festival’s theme and its core metaphor—a book as a doorway opening up new worlds for the reader. I also handled the copywriting, adapting Maxim Gorky’s words for a contemporary context. I selected quotes that still feel surprisingly relevant today and developed additional language that connects the writer’s ideas and legacy with the present.

CONTOUR ART FAIRTarget Creating a merch collection that feels fresh and distinctive, while capturing the atmosphere and spirit of the fair through an unexpected concept.
Result
Before beginning the design, I conducted in-depth research into the fair’s audience, exploring their motivations, interests, and preferences. This research helped shape the concept and build the collection around it.
