In my work, Silentium (from the Latin silentium—silence), I strive to slow down the passage of time and allow myself to be «here and now» in the present moment. I invite the viewer to pause life and feel the silence when everything stills around them, leaving only their own self, their feelings, and their true desires audible and visible.

I immerse myself in a prolonged creative process to avoid getting lost in the endless race for happiness and success in a big city. In the Silentium project, I savor the meditation inherent in creation: I roll thin sheets of paper porcelain, cut them into pieces (as if dissecting thoughts), and fold them, giving them a fixed form at the moment (making changes).

I imbue color (infusing it with new meaning) or leave elements untouched (creating space for something new). And once everything is ready and recontextualized, I fire and reassemble it piece by piece into a unified whole. Thus, Silentium becomes a point toward which everyone can slow down.
