Dzerq — a photo series based on the Armenian folk tale «Anait»
The fairy tale tells of Tsarevich Vachagan, whose craft played a key role in his life. Deciding to tour his kingdom to see how the people lived, he fell into the hands of a demon priest. His ability to weave helped him escape—the brocade he wove contained a message for his wife, who later saved him from the dungeon.
The concept involves photographing various objects crafted using popular Armenian crafts.
