The first conceptual collection by the unique decorative corset brand CHÉR is dedicated to surprising the Russian cultural code. Upon studying this rich theme in greater detail, we concluded that the Russian cultural code genuinely stems from components of various origins—from borrowings originating in the East to those from Europe. Furthermore, while recreating visual images from different eras, one can trace how people living on Russian territory skillfully transformed existing imagery based on personal context, specific regions, unique circumstances, and even minor details, such as local legends, and so on.
To what people primarily turn in Russia is nature. Its motifs are present in every image, and lyrical heroes in various works invariably turn to it. It is the source and the guardian of everything. The source in nature—the source is everywhere.
