The book «Concrete and Reinforced Concrete in Architecture» was published in 1980. After 40 years, the content of the book remains relevant to the reader. The aim is to put together a book with an up-to-date layout and photographs that illustrate and complement what has been written before.
The book is inspired by 20th century architecture, which is reflected in the block layout. The horizontal stripe of photography, transitioning from one spread to the next, is like a ribbon glazing of Le Corbusier’s architecture. The grotesque typeface Loos reference the massive and brutal concrete buildings of the time.

Removable glossy cover repeats the characteristic grid of the book.

The book’s grid is based on modernist architecture, which is the subject of the text. The striped glazing, popular in those times, inspired the arrangement of the photographs.
