00. Introduction // About Me

Hi, I’m Alisa Issa. I’m 21 and study Communication Design at the HSE Art and Design School.
I work with drawing, typography, graphic design, and objects. I’m particularly interested in how visual ideas can move beyond paper or a screen and take on a physical form. Recently, this interest has led me to making my own jewelry.
01. Botanical Greenhouses // Visual Identity

A visual identity developed for the Botanical Greenhouses cultural and exhibition complex.Working from a brief, I created a flexible graphic system based on geometric and botanical shapes. I developed the typography, color palette, and visual elements, applying them to posters, event programs, and merchandise.

02. MOLT // Display Typeface
MOLT is an experimental display typeface built around fluid, intertwined letterforms that almost seem to melt into one another.
I designed the characters and explored how they could work outside traditional typography, including graphic compositions and wearable interpretations of the letters.
03. Radiance of Heritage // Editorial Design
A book exploring traditional Bashkir jewelry—its history, forms, and cultural significance.I transformed the visual research into an editorial project, combining photography, typography, and meticulously arranged compositions to highlight the jewelry’s intricate details and character.
04. Sketchbook // Personal Drawings
Drawing is an important part of my practice, even when it isn’t connected to a particular project. My sketchbook is where I experiment with characters, shapes, and compositions, often without knowing where these ideas might eventually lead.
05. Jewelry // Handmade Objects
