At the heart of the design are ephemeral flowers with thick stems and the slogan, «We will be together.» This simple, intentionally naive illustration is supported by a strong metaphor—those very flowers of life, but with an incredibly resilient core.
The children at the hospice are, first and foremost, just children, so I am using the most universally understood symbol of childhood: green grass, flowers, and plants. I am also appealing to the simple phrase, «We will be near, ” which instantly conveys a sense of togetherness with just a few words.
