Illustrations for the book by Evgeny Babushkin Drunken Birds, Merry Wolves (AST Publishing House, 2020) ———— These are fairy tales, parables and plays about modern eccentrics: they live quietly next to us and in ourselves. The back streets of Moscow and the avenues of Berlin, lousy hotels and abandoned villages — there seems to be nothing miraculous in this world. But your neighbours will easily turn into wolves and back, the children of former enemies will definitely fall in love with each other, and a fired janitor will accidentally create a whole world.
